Why

Doge Car is a celebration of meme magic.

We love building and sharing what we have built with others. We had such great experiences on playa with other peoples art cars that we want to give back and create this magical experience for others based of our own ideas.

We love memes and we want to bring a giant meme to the playa. We invite you to surf the dust on playa astride a giant dog.

What we started with

Doge started out in life as Disco Fish and has served the playa for many years. The disco fish team grew into their much larger project (technogecko.org) and has retired the car 2 years ago.

In the 2019 theme of metamorphosis we are converting the fish to its second live as a giant dog.
